PROGRAMME OVERVIEW









MAHSA Bachelor of Science Islamic Finance is a 3.5 years programme and is designed in consultation with 
the university partners. It aims to produce graduates in the field of Islamic Finance who are not only knowledgeable 
and skilful but as well as individuals who would demonstrate high level of integrity coupled with sound social 
and personal disposition that will be an asset to the organization that they can work with.
Apart from that, there individuals will display leadership characteristics with aim of achieving the principles of 
maqasid a-syariah.

Entry Requirement

  • Matriculation/Foundation recognised certificate with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0
    OR
  • Pass in STPM with 2 full passes or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0
    OR
  • Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
    OR
  • Pass in A-Levels with minimum 2 principles
    OR
  • Pass International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 24
    OR
  • Pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with minimum grade B in 5 subjects
    OR
  • Pass in South Australian Matriculation (SAM)/ Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT)/ 
  • South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) in 2 subjects with ATAR score of 50%

  • Pass Canadian Pre-U/ Tertiary Entrance Examination (TEE) with an aggregate of 50%
    OR
  • Pass in Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE/ Pass Ontario Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12)
    OR
  • Pass with 50% aggregate or CGPA 2.00 in CIMP, Indian Pre-University, American High School 
  • with Advanced Placement (AP), Higher School Certificate Sydney Australia, Western Australian 
  • Curriculum Council, University of New South Wales (UNSW) Foundation, High School Certificate
  •  (HSC) and New Zealand Bursary
    OR
  • A Diploma in MIF or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.0
    OR
  • Candidates who have a Diploma with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 may be admitted subject
  •  to an internal assessment process

  • Any other Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0
